Behtel Dawit has always been surrounded by real estate. Growing up in Ottawa, she observed firsthand the economic benefits of investing in property through her family’s endeavors, inspiring her lifelong passion for the industry. With a strong foundation in financial services and wealth management, Behtel brings a unique perspective to guiding clients through some of life’s most significant—and sometimes stressful—economic decisions.

Known for her patience and empathy, Behtel is committed to serving as an advisor, not just a salesperson. As a licensed real estate agent in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C., she takes pride in providing her clients with the time, insights, and resources they need to make confident, informed choices.

Behtel holds a bachelor’s degree from Carleton University in Ottawa and a master’s degree from Hult International Business School. At Hult, she had the unique opportunity to study alongside students from over 100 countries, gaining a global perspective and cultural understanding that continue to shape her approach to client relationships and problem-solving.

Behtel currently resides in Alexandria, Virginia, with her husband, Abel, and their lovable dog, Luka. One of her favorite places to visit is Paris, where she loves walking through the streets to admire the city’s stunning architecture, discover hidden beauty, and practice her French. Closer to home, she enjoys exploring different neighborhoods throughout the DMV area, supporting local businesses, and uncovering charming coffee shops.
